For a fast tourist, a day it’s all you need to see the highlights of a city and  well, maybe it could be true; but an old city, a city with a millennial history, is something different: it’s a stratification of stories, names, smells,  all of them giving to the city an atmosphere, kind of a personality, a spirit you really need some more days to understand.
This is the reason why we started this website: we imagine a tourist interested in understanding the historic processes beyond the monuments, curious to learn besides watching them.
So, toghether with the “Classic” tours, we prepared some pretty unusual tours, in and outside Rome, to show monuments normally excluded from the tourist circuits and, with them, to talk about the many different sides of the Roman society through the centuries, from the foundation (and before) until modern times.
For an historian doing guided tours in Rome since 2000, this is a new, far more stimulating way to let you appreciate more the unique city where I was born.
