the etruscan (part one)

Long time before Rome became the center of one of the widest Empires ever, many different nations lived in Italy; the most famous, and maybe the most important one, were the Etruscan. Starting from north Tuscany, this population spread out all over North and Central Italy to say, an Etruscan dynasty ruled Rome for about a century. By the way, Etruscan never gave birth to a real nation, being the main cities interested on preserving their independence, and this was their weakness, when Rome started using their mutual hatred to separate them and then eventually to conquest them all. There are no remains of any Etruscan city, yet we can still see many of their necropolis, cemeteries where the imposing private tumuli (tombs) are mixed with the normal people one's. The tour starts in Cerveteri, once Kaere, to see the two Necropolis called “Banditaccia”  and “Sorbo”, the rich and the poor one together;
